Attack on Titan Watch Order (Release = Best Order)
| # | Title | Year | Episodes |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Season 1 | 2013 | 25 |
| 2 | Season 2 | 2017 | 12 |
| 3 | Season 3 Part 1 | 2018 | 12 |
| 4 | Season 3 Part 2 | 2019 | 10 |
| 5 | The Final Season Part 1 | 2020–21 | 16 |
| 6 | The Final Season Part 2 | 2022 | 12 |
| 7 | The Final Chapters: Special 1 | March 2023 | 1 (≈60 min) |
| 8 | The Final Chapters: Special 2 | November 2023 | 1 (≈85 min) |
Release order is the best order. The story uses flashbacks on purpose — watching “chronologically” would ruin the biggest twists.
Where Do the OVAs Fit?
- Ilse’s Notebook — watch after Season 1.
- A Sudden Visitor / Distress — light side stories, watch anytime after Season 1.
- No Regrets (2 parts) — Levi’s backstory. Best after Season 2.
- Lost Girls (3 parts) — Annie and Mikasa stories. Best after Season 2.
OVAs are optional, but No Regrets is highly recommended if you love Levi.
