Z or Kai?

Dragon Ball Z Kai is a remastered, shorter version of Z with almost all filler removed. If you want speed, choose Kai. If you want the classic experience and original music, choose Z.
Where Does Daima Fit?

Dragon Ball Daima was Akira Toriyama’s final project. It is set after the Majin Buu saga and before Super, so watch it after Z/Kai. You can also watch it after Super — it works either way.
Is Dragon Ball GT Canon?

No. GT (1996–97) is an anime-original sequel. It’s optional and many fans skip it.
Battle of Gods & Resurrection ‘F’

These two films (2013, 2015) were retold in the first arcs of Dragon Ball Super, so you can watch either the movies or those episodes.
FAQ

Can I start with Dragon Ball Z?
