Jujutsu Kaisen Watch Order: Season 1, JJK 0, Season 2 & Beyond

Jujutsu Kaisen by MAPPA is one of the most popular anime of the decade. The only question new fans ask: when do I watch Jujutsu Kaisen 0? Here is the answer — and the full order.

Jujutsu Kaisen — Official Trailer

Best Watch Order (Release Order)

1. Season 1 (2020–21) — 24 episodes
2. Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie (2021) — prequel starring Yuta Okkotsu
3. Season 2 (2023) — 23 episodes: Hidden Inventory / Premature Death (eps 1–5) and Shibuya Incident (eps 6–23)
4. Season 3 – The Culling Game — continues directly after Shibuya

Chronological Order

1. Season 2 episodes 1–5 (Gojo and Geto’s high-school past)
2. Jujutsu Kaisen 0
3. Season 1
4. Season 2 episodes 6–23
5. Season 3

We recommend release order for first-timers. Gojo’s past hits much harder when you already know who he is.

Why Watch JJK 0 Before Season 2?

Yuta and Geto play major roles later. The movie sets up both characters, so watching it before Shibuya makes the arc far more powerful.

Where to Watch
